This family-friendly apartment overlooking the High Street in central Aldeburgh makes the perfect base for a family or couple to enjoy everything in the town and explore the local area, with the beach, shops, pubs, and restaurants all nearby. It has private parking, and your four-legged friend is welcome here too.

With relaxed styling and gorgeous wooden furniture, you’ll feel at home as soon as you arrive at the bright and airy apartment. Curl up in the spacious, light lounge to watch TV while your pup dozes under the electric fire. Next door is everything you need for a self-catering holiday in the well-appointed, contemporary kitchen, and you can enjoy sociable mealtimes in the dining area. The kitchen and utility have all the mod cons you’ll need for cooking and washing. There are two bedrooms, a double with ample space for all your holiday outfits and a cute single room, as well as a gorgeous bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath. The apartment also has a garage for a small/medium car. It doesn’t have private outside space, but the town’s huge sand and shingle beach is less than 150 metres away.

Head out for a walk with Fido on the footpaths that crisscross the nearby marshes or wander along the coast to Thorpeness, a 6.5-mile circular walk that takes you through the stunning scenery in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can go sailing, canoeing and paddleboarding on the River Alde, explore the town’s shops, and restaurants, and be sure to visit the gin distillery at the beach. Hire a bike or an e-bike to explore further afield and pop to the pub for a well-deserved drink on your way home.

The flat was very comfortable. Very quiet, even though its on the High Street. Ideal position for exploring the area. Kitchen is well equipped. I had a very relaxing few days there.

Another lovely break in Aldeburgh! St. Johns Court is right in the heart of the little town with super easy access to all shops and the beach. The property is equipped with a great kitchen and made cooking easy. Enough space for two adults and one teenager that likes to hide away in their bedroom. The great WiFi was a must on this holiday for saRead moreid teenager ;) We had wonderful and cosy evenings with a book in hand in front of the electric fireplace.
