Excellent location with easy parking. The kitchen and sitiing room work well for a multi-age party. There were lots of mosquitoes:( Some fans would be useful in the very hot weather - 37 when we arrived.

Jasmine Cottage is a fantastic, spacious holiday home and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would especially recommend it to bird/wildlife watchers as the views over the garden and across to the Dingle Marsh are superb. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the general decor lovely. There is a coffee machine which takes Read moreTassimo pods and the owner left a few pods for our initial needs. The owner also left a great welcome pack, which we find that a lot of owners are cutting back on due to the cost. The cottage is on a very quiet road, so does not suffer from traffic noise. One thing to note is that the rear garden is open to the neighbours on either side, although he patio area is screened by a fence on both sides. Hide

Jasmine Cottage was fabulous, we could have spent the whole week looking at the view, the barn owl, marsh harriers and red deer. Perfect location for short and longer walks along the coast and inland on the heath.

Location, location, location! Wow, if you are a birder you will be in heaven, it was actually quite difficult to leave the cottage as didnt want to miss the Marsh Harriers etc ( no Bitterns this time, hopefully next). I think all in we spotted or heard ( yes you Cettis Warbler!!) around 36! Also Red deer made an appearance but its the Marsh HarrieRead morers that steal the show. Lovely open garden so you can see the widest possible view of the marsh. The history of Dunwich is fascinating and a book and video are there to help, as well as the little museum down the road. Everything you need is provided in the cottage and although the en-suite shower is a bit of a squeeze there is an over the bath shower too. Cottage is plenty big enough for four adults and two children. There is even a snug, with very comfortable sofa and chair, with music. Dunwich is a hidden gem. You can eat at The Ship, food is ok, staff lovely, or the cafe on the beach, fish is lovely and staff equally so. Dont forget to visit the little hut beside it, beautiful photos for sale of local area. A hidden food gem is at the Emmerdale Farm shop, the little cafe, the breakfast we had there was the best Ive had in ages and the chef was great. I hope to take my grandchildren to the cottage, they will love the shingle beach, which is within walking distance. Further afield plenty of places to eat. Mimsmere just up the road too. We will definitely be booking again. Ps Tesco deliver there! Hide

Cottage is in a great position overlooking Dingle Marshes. The ground floor was great but we had issues upstairs with the showers. It is also important to know that the head height in places will require you to lower your head if you're over 5 foot 10 inches approx.

The review which I have put through today. "We had a lovely stay at Jasmine Cottage but you do need a car to get around There is no public transport. The accommodation is as advertised; two generously sized double rooms, one en-suite (both of which have a TV) and a twin. The twin room is snug but, as with the all the rooms, beautifully appointRead moreed. On the Ground Floor, the Snug has no TV which means you can have quiet time away from the main lounge. Loved that the TV in the main lounge is 'smart' so we were able to catch up on the Iplayer. The garden looks out onto Denge Marsh and is visited by pheasants and other birds who are attracted by the bird feeder. Parking for one car on the drive and easy street parking for any other vehicles. It was so peaceful in the morning to watch the wild life as we had breakfast. Jasmine Cottage is a short walk from the bay which is fabulous and great for kite flying, and spending time on the pebbly beach. A wind break can be useful at times! The bay has a beach cafe which has a food offering. The area is rich in history and walks. A lovely place to stay. There is no local shop, but a farm shop a short drive away (Emerdale Farm Shop). The local pub is highly recommended. Great for walking, bird watching, sitting by the sea and letting time pass. " Hide

Wonderful location looking over the Dingle Marshes in the village of Dunwich. The accommodation was of the highest quality and very well equipped - the owners clearly considered all aspects of a holiday let - things that matter such as quality bedding and towels along with furnishings really do make a difference - and a thoughtful welcome pack and Read moreuseful local information leaflets. We particularly enjoyed the view over the marshes and for anyone interested in birds, a perfect place to see a good variety - the spotting scope in the lounge was a tremendous help in this regard and a good idea. The accommodation is comfortable and although we had perfect weather, we would have been happy staying there even if it wasnt as the open plan lounge/diner had large windows, letting in plenty of light. Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. Good location, convenient for the local pub (good food and very welcoming), also the Flora Tea Rooms adjacent to the beach (10 minutes walk, excellent fish and chips). Rear view over the marshes where we saw deer and a large variety of birds. We would definitely return.
