This place was totally perfect, so much more homely and comfortable than places I have stayed in Woodbridge previously. These include the Aga - just perfect, comfortable beds and a really homely lived in feeling to it. I had an amazing time and was truly sad to leave, a big thank you.

Decent place but sofas grubby, also uncomfortable. Bed slopes due to the floor angle, needs levelling. Lovely location. Decent heating. Ok'ish but will not be back.

This is a delightful place to step back in time. Highly recommend it for short term lets However, there is a lot of black mold in bathroom, even with a window open, and washing machine was full of mold. Treated it repeatedly with bleach. Owner got a mechanic in to see about replacing the rubber around entrance. The couches are old. We had guRead moreests over and they commented on lack of cushioning. Mold in them too. I did a lot of cooking and didnt like the Teflon pans. But I didnt buy new because they are so expensive and I would leave them here, as were from the States All of that said, the owners were very responsive, as was the management company. Owners handyman, Bob, is great too. If you have allergies, dont stay here. Otherwise, enjoy it for what it is Hide

We had a wonderful week in Anchor Cottage as a family of five. The house was perfect for our stay with a good amount of space and everything we needed. The courtyard garden was a great space to relax and having the parking space took away the need to find local street parking or pay for car parks. We will definitely stay again.

Another great holiday thank you. A nice cottage with parking which a really bonus & great location in Woodbridge. Pubs, cafes and delis on your door step or a 5 minute walk into the town centre. Lots to see and do in Woodbridge and the beautiful surrounding areas, with lots of history and amazing beaches.

Cottage is in good location although street can get a bit busy at peak times. Parking usually available across the road, but there is parking for one car behind the cottage, albeit its a bit tight. Large cottage which can accommodate 4-5 people but only has 1 toilet and bathroom! Overall the cottage needs an upgrade as we found it not too clean in Read moreplaces with dust and cobwebs around, including under the beds. Kitchen is well equipped although some of the pots and lands could do with a good wash and some need replacing due to chips and cracks. Lounge furniture faded and worn with curtains stained and falling off the hooks in a couple of places. Shower screen rusting along edge and nonslip shower mat mouldy. One of the shower heads was mouldy as was the shower hose. Bathroom sink and bath plug holes appear partially blocked as slow to empty and gurgling. All of the upstairs curtains and blinds were stained and one of the bedroom blinds was broken in the down position. Terrace area at back is small and needs weeding and tidying. We were very disappointed with the cottage and would not stay here again. Response from Holiday Cottages: Thank you for your review, we appreciate your comments as it helps us improve our service. Please know that all the issues mentioned have been rectified, blind has been mended, mould rectified and the garden attended to. Hide

This lovely cottage was in an ideal location for the centre of Woodbridge. We ate out every night at a different venue and didn't have to use the car once. We visited a different place every day. There were so many places of interest nearby.
