Set within a holiday park, just a short stroll from the beach and on the doorstep of RSPB Minsmere, this woodland lodge is ideal for a small family or couples who love wildlife and scenic walks.
Once a thriving medieval port, Dunwich is a special holiday destination made up of forest, heath and beach where loved ones can come together to explore the local area and create fond memories. The holiday park – which boasts a bar, lovely restaurant and children’s play area – is nestled within woodland on the cliff top which has direct access down to the dog-friendly shingle beach and provides wonderful views over to the popular neighbouring town of Southwold where you can see the beacon of the lighthouse turning. A trip to Southwold is highly recommended for a choice of shops and eateries, as well as a stroll along the pier where you can take in the views of the Suffolk coastline.
Up a few steps and via the French doors on the decking at the front of the lodge, you arrive in the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area and you instantly get a feel for the quality and care that has gone into making this a real home from home. The lounge area is cosy and has a comfortable, large sofa which can seat up to four guests. It’s the perfect place to kick back and relax in front of the TV, catching up on your favourite shows whilst enjoying some downtime. The kitchen is well-equipped and has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice compartment and a dishwasher. Once a hearty meal has been lovingly prepared then serve up at the dining table which can also seat up to four guests. Heading down the hallway, you have the master bedroom with a double bed, a TV and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Bedroom two is a twin room. To complete the property, there is a bathroom with a over head shower and WC.
Outside is an enclosed decking and garden area with a table and chairs complete with sea views providing an idyllic backdrop – it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining or relax in your very own private hot tub. There is off-road parking next to your lodge for one car.
