The Stables is large and well equipped and a good place to relax - in better weather it would have been lovely to spend some time in the summer house - a lovely touch. The kitchen is small, well equipped but lacks work surface for those who want to self cater. Great place for dog walks and a lovely setting. We arrived and met with Geri. Very hospitable and went out of his way to welcome us. We were showed around the property and everything was explained. The barn has a wow factor as does the grounds. Sarah introduced herself. Both so friendly. High specification and was not disappointed. Great location and only 10 mins walk to a selection of.pubs and Read morerestaurants. Hide

Owners were lovely. Property was beautiful. Kitchen was smaller than expected but suited our needs. Only down side was being woke up at 6:30 every morning by trains. But the beds where so comfy and we still had a great nights sleep

The property was very clean however the kitchen area was a disappointment and you also had to bend double to walk along the side of the bed due to the steep sloping ceilings. We did not realise that it's location was adjacent to a busy road and with a railway line in continuous use every 20 minutes day and night only 150 metres away.

It was a beautiful building and tastefully converted. We were somewhat disappointed with the lack of kitchen facilities although we didnt hire the place to be cooking large meals. Value for money is exceptional.

The barn is huge and comfortable. The owners are friendly, on hand and most accommodating. The kitchen doesn't have a proper stove but we where able to produce meals to a good standard, but with pubs and restaurants to suit every pocket, why bother !
