A perfect getaway for 2 people and their dog in an idyllic position. There were regular visits from the Muntjac deer, squirrels and a warren of rabbits. Green Woodpeckers were also a common sight. The grounds are immaculately kept by the owners and their staff who were all very friendly.

We found this to be a sympathetic and pleasant stable conversion in a most delightful, quiet setting. It was perfect for the two of us and our little dog. Conveniently located and ideal to visit family and friends and both the Colchester and Ipswich areas. We intend to return.

This is our second stay at the Clocktower Stables and we also booked the property next door for our son and his partner. We all enjoyed a lovely comfortable long weekend break, Manningtree has a good pub, restaurants with take away menus too. The properties are situated in pretty grounds and positioned well to explore both Suffolk and Essex.
