Families and couples will have no shortage of places to visit in this picturesque part of East Anglia. The nearby historic town of Stowmarket is home to the Museum of East Anglian Life,in Framlingham, the castle is backdrop to a thriving Tuesday and Saturday market plus independent shops, pubs and eateries. Or alternatively Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral and abbey ruins offers outstanding culture. Nature lovers will enjoy many outstanding RSPB reserves including Minsmere and Orford Ness and the myriad of local paths and tracks which can be discovered on foot or by bike. No trip to Suffolk would be complete without exploring the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast with varied coastline and popular tourist resorts including Southwold and Aldeburgh which are easily accessible with the pretty A1120 tourist route.

Guests entering the cottage will find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor with French doors out to the garden. The lounge area features comfy sofas arranged around a Smart TV and DVD. There is a newly installed fibre broadband connection to the property which gives high speed access to the internet for streaming, gaming and video calls.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything required to dine in including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and to help with the cleaning, a handy dishwasher, there is also a washer/dryer and dining area with table and chairs. Ascending the stairs to the first floor there are two bedrooms, the first is a double with TV/DVD while the second is a twin, again with TV/DVD. Finishing the accommodation is a generous bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Moving outside, the cottage enjoys a private garden with ample space for children to run off some energy and two patio areas with garden furniture and BBQ providing guests with opportunities to dine outdoors on a warm summers evening. Off-road parking for four cars is available adjacent to the cottage.

East End Dairy is a lovely property. It's position at the end of a lane means it's very quiet, surrounded by countryside. The garden is a generous size great to sit or play in. The interior is modern and comfortable. The owners are close by and happy to respond to any queries. Will definitely be returning.

The cottage is lovely. Garden is great and private, really peaceful location and plenty of space for parking. Inside was warm, comfortable and all spotless. We enjoyed trips to Norwich, Ipswich, Aldeburgh and Lavenham, and Framlingham Castle. So many places within easy reach. Shops a short drive away. We look forward to staying again!

Lovely countryside location. Not isolated as owners live nearby. They were so friendly and helpful if you needed anything. Able to use the barbeque when family visited. We had a two week stay in January and the cottage was very comfortable and in a great location for day out visits. The cottage had everything that was needed and we would have no hesitation in booking again.

The Old Dairy was a lovely cottage where we certainly had a restful and peaceful holiday, surrounding by wildlife, including bats, a barn owl, a woodpecker and numerous rabbits and hares. Cottage was cosy and quiet surroundings. Everything you would need is there. A long lane with cottage at the end. A ride out to shops, or eateries. A lovely relaxing break. Only there a few days, but would go back. Sitting on patio with a cup of tea watching the rabbits playing. Lovely.

Fantastic cottage in a lovely quiet location. Enjoyed the patio and large garden which captures the sun in the morning and late afternoon. Well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge area with smart tv, the cottage has everything you need. Location was perfect for us and we had some lovely days out at Felixstowe, Bury St Edmunds, Southwold, Colchester ZRead moreoo and the Owl Sanctuary only a couple of miles away. A lovely property, so quiet in a gorgeous setting. The property was beautifully presented and equipped with everything you could need. It was lovely to have our own private outside space and parking. A lovely cottage in an exceptionally quiet location. A large secluded garden with 2 patios to capture the sunshine morning and late afternoon. Wonderful bird song including an owl. The location was super in terms of being central for sightseeing in any direction. Very friendly host. Who could want more?
