Lovely cottage, everything perfect, great location and very well-equipped. We hope to revisit some time.
Fantastic property with lots of added extras you wouldn't expect in a holiday rental.
A wonderful cottage, clearly loved by the owner with everything we needed for our stay and more. A most generous welcome pack awaited us that catered for adults and children alike. Perfect location
A very welcoming, stylish and well-appointed cottage in a good location close to the beach and to the services on High Street.
This property is in an excellent location. It's beautifully furnished and equipped and we have never stayed anywhere else where the owner was so generous with their starter food pack and other supplies. It was a week of luxury! One of the best we have ever stayed in.
Beautiful, comfortable, cottage in a great location. We had everything we needed for a great holiday. Thank you.
A secret no longer and to be repeated. Attention to detail and needs of all age groups to leisure and environment superlative.
We really loved our time at Secret Cottage. From the ease of booking with good communication to the lovely welcome hamper on arrival, every aspect of our stay was wonderfully thought out and felt like a real home from home. The closeness to the beach was a real winner for us, our 5 year old was in heaven. A very picturesque part of the coast and a foody's dream. We've already booked for next year!!
Extremely well appointed and equipped little cottage. Location was superb for beach and high street - only a few minutes walk to each and Aldeburgh was a great base and bustling, well kept little town, perfectly placed for exploring the Suffolk coast. Cheryl had thought of everything in the cottage that a family with children and a dog could possibly want. The cupboards were brimming with useful extra items for the beach, picnics, rainy days, dogs, kids etc. We cooked a few family meals during our stay and found the kitchen very well equipped - all the food goodies that had been left were really appreciated too! Also enjoyed the snuggly dressing gowns and comfortable beds. Truly a home from home. We accidentally stayed an hour later than we should have on the last day due to misreading the literature, and Cheryl and Sussex Secrets were very kind and understanding about our mistake. Couldn't fault their service or management from booking to check out.
The Secret Cottage, Aldeburgh - excellent property. The owner really has thought of everything. A really home from home Lovely cottage. Definitely a well kept secret. It was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. All the added extras- the Welcome basket, the "goodies" incuding Prosecco in the fridge and the truckle of sweets, the spare tioletries in the bathroom were a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. It is such a well equipped cottage. With all the games and outdoor equipment. We enjoyed sailing the boats on the near by boating lake. Even the dogs were well catered for!! Treats, balls, poo bags and bed. Our friend's dog loved the light up ball and it kept her entertained all weekend. For once the ball defeated her and she didn't manage to destroy the ball!! The owner really has thought of everything and made the cottage a real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and would love to come back.
The property is really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Its location is superb, so close to the centre and the sea but also quiet.
