A fabulous holiday home designed to make the most of its waterside position situated in South Norfolk, from which guests are able to explore the many local attractions. Those of an energetic nature may wish to visit nearby Thetford forest with high wire experiences and stunning walking and cycling tracks, while race fans will enjoy a trip to Snetterton Race Circuit, just a short drive away and has a year-round calendar of events. The Suffolk and Norfolk coasts attract visitors to the charming resorts such as Southwold, Sheringham and Cromer and can be reached during a day trip while inland attractions include National Trust and English Heritage properties, Banham Zoo and the historic cities of Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
Arriving at the lodge guests will follow the shingle path around the far end of the lake before entering this studio-style home from the raised and private decking. The lounge area features a comfortable sofa on which to catch up with any TV shows and enjoy the views out over the lake. Moving through to the kitchen/diner, guests are able to rustle up all manners of cuisine with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and enjoy the resulting meals either on the table in the kitchen with a window out to the lake so you can enjoy the views whilst eating. The sleeping area houses the king-size bed with bedside tables and lamps to ensure a good night’s rest. Finally, completing the property is the, shower room with shower and WC, to re-invigorate and refresh.
Stepping out onto the raised decking area, guests can enjoy the height of relaxation with a dip into the fantastic sunken hot tub. The swing chair provides the perfect spot for a morning coffee or time with a good novel, or perhaps enjoy a spot of fishing in the stocked lake where thoughts will no doubt lead to catching a big one. The lake itself has been stocked with a variety of coarse fish including roach, tench, and carp should guests wish to spend some time angling. There is no closed fishing season however, the owner has the right to close when carp is spawning and there is no charge for fishing. Walks around the estate, include a small stretch of the River Thet with thatched gazebo, offering the opportunity to see a range of wildlife. There is off-road parking for one car.
