Dating back to 1828, The Old Warehouse in Woodbridge is tucked away just off the main Thoroughfare, in one of the prettiest and quietest streets in this popular market town. This unique property cleverly converted into a stunning self-catering holiday home which is truly one of a kind.
The property has had various uses in the past including its original purpose as a Wesleyan Meeting House, a corset factory in 1888 and a furniture bonding warehouse.
In 1978, The Old Warehouse was converted into a home and has undergone a complete transformation. The interior of this holiday home has been finished to a very high standard with a contemporary industrial vibe, similar to that of a New York style loft apartment, very unusual in the market town of Woodbridge.
As expected with a luxury holiday home there is comfort around every corner with sumptuous seating and soft furnishings throughout, a cosy woodburner for the winter months and high-quality beds ideal for a good night’s sleep. Spread across two main levels, the ground floor consists of the three bedrooms ideally suited for three couples but could also work well for a family group. There is also a separate snug area with its own TV, perfect for children to enjoy, giving the adults some peace and quiet.
On the first floor is the main living area which is all open plan with exposed brick, hints of copper, metal work and a huge skylight creating the centre stage for family gatherings or simply relaxing and enjoying this amazing conversion.
The Old Warehouse is a great choice for weekly stays or short breaks and is ideal at any time of year. This holiday home has to be seen to be believed. Shop: 100 yards Pub: 200 yards.

Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous Tide Mill, the ancient buildings around the Market Hill and the fine Church. Woodbridge has an interesting shopping centre, with many specialist shops, good restaurants and pubs, together with art galleries, antique shops, town museum, Suffolk Horse museum, an excellent cinema/theatre, large recreation areas and an indoor heated swimming pool.

Our second successive year in Woodbridge, love this area. Our first and won't be last , stay at The Old Warehouse. Fantastic property. Kids ( 12 & 9) liked having a room each ( with ensuites) and loved the games and table tennis. Mum loved the reading spot on the mezzanine. Day trips to Walberswick ( amazing for crabbing), Southwold, Suffolk Punch Trust, and Aldeburgh. Great fish & chips at Lowestoft and final meal at the King's Head. A week is never enough! Thanks Mary & Andrew. From the Stevens family
Thank you Mary for all your preparation before our arrival. The Old Warehouse was a wonderful sight after our long journey. We had a peaceful stay visiting family & friends in wonderful Woodbridge. We hope to be back soon. Thank you.
It was wonderful to be back here in this lovely house, and thank you Mary for being a great host. The house has been a welcome escape from home after such a difficult 18 months! Hoping to be back next summer.
The Old Warehouse is a wonderful, spacious and well equipped property, just as the photos depict and the owners make you feel very welcome. We have been twice now and can't wait to go back again next year we hope. Thanks for another lovely holiday!
A huge thank you to Mary, what a lovely host you have been. The Old Warehouse is such a fantastic place to stay and we have had a lovely time. The weather could have been kinder to us but it didn't stop us from exploring this lovely part of the country. This was our first holiday away with little Benjamin our 8 week old grandson and he was such a good little boy so hopefully the first of many but we are unlikely to find a better house to stay in
The Old Warehouse sits right in the middle of Woodbridge, yet on a quiet street in a tucked away location. The ‘New-York’ style loft space is bright and well equipped with a large flat screen two music speakers and some great children’s toys. We had a fabulous stay there, Woodbridge itself is friendly and has plenty of places to eat and drink but we found the Old Warehouse was the perfect place to explore the rest of Suffolk.
The Old Warehouse is every bit as fantastic as the marketing portrayed and hoped for when booking our first holiday since 2019. In a great location in Woodbridge and Woodbridge is a great location to explore Suffolk. We particularly liked Southwold and Sutton Hoo is well worth a visit. We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you to Mary, our host who was lovely & helpful. 5 star rating from us.
The Warehouse is fabulous, we love it and will find it hard to leave. We booked it such a long time ago we had forgotten how lovely it is! One of our party is an architect so he is really appreciating all the fine details.
The 'Old Warehouse' did not disappoint for a second time. What a wonderful space to unwind and relax after the last 15 months. Thank you once again for your attention to detail and your text messages. We felt really at home. Hope to return again one day.
We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay at the Old Warehouse. It is a unique beautiful property nestled in Brook street. You organized the weather to be perfect for us this week. We love Woodbridge. Sunset skies are wonderful.
We have gone away as 2 couples of friends to various places over the last 10 years and all agree that the Old Warehouse is the best place we have stayed. Beautiful accommodation and so local to so many things! Can recommend the Tasting menu at the Unruly pig. Thankyou!
A wonderful property in a lovely little town. A beautiful renovation of an old corset factory makes a great place to stay, almost too good to leave!
We enjoyed a lively long weekend at the Old Warehouse. We especially loved the huge open-plan living space with enormous comfy sofas & the ' colouring- in lounge' in the mezzanine! You'll be glad to hear that we have managed to persuade the kids that we cannot change the locks and refuse to move out! Thanks so much for making our stay so comfortable. Pete , Martina, Sam & Amelie
Great weekend stay- very interesting building, history and renovation. Made a fun loft style break in downtown Woodbridge. Everything worked brilliantly and we had a fun time exploring, shopping and walking. Rocco ( dog) was especially pleased to be allowed to come and stay. Thanks again The Cooper- Smith's
We have enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Old Warehouse!! Absolutely stunning property, with so much attention to detail. There is always the fear that the property won't live up to the marketing pictures, but in this case the property surpassed our expectations!! Enjoyed our stay in Suffolk, and enjoyed coming back to The Old Warehouse even more. Exceptional. Thank you, Mary. The Suttles
Barney the Labradoodle was in good company. A Moose on the loose, bats in the belfry, penguins perching, seed heads in the ceiling & rats in the rafters. Great fun and all very quirky! Good to be in the centre of town. Jolly time had by all. Thank you.
Many thanks for a lovely break here at the Old Warehouse. Accommodation is excellent. Woodbridge is a very pleasant town and there was plenty to see locally, and especially the sea which we love. Joy & John Gordon.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fabulous home. We had a great time- helped by beautiful sunny weather- even for a couple of days on the beach. Lovely walks by the river, a great meal at the Table and thoroughly enjoyed a very wet speedboat ride. Thank you The Colenutts
A wonderful stay. Thank-you we will be back. The Cracknells
Lovely break- blessed with good weather. Some excellent meals best probably The Table & The Unruly Pig. Thanks for sharing your home- very comfortable and well equipped- great. Jo, John and Aisla .
We have had an amazing week staying at the Old Warehouse! Thank you so much for all your hard work preparing the place for us.We loved everything about our stay here and we will be back! The Lawleysx
Had a lovely time here at the old warehouse as a base for a few post-lockdown days in Suffolk. The house is impressive and filled with character and tech. We enjoyed its upside-down layout and vast open- plan lounge diner kitchen and mezzanine all in all a lovely stay. It raises the bar on the holiday lets we had a lovely time and managed to visit plenty of places despite the social distancing measures including a private tour of the tide mill and drive-in cinema. The Johnsons
We had a wonderful time in this quirky and unique house, enjoying every minute of it. The cleanliness standards were impeccable and the little touches made a difference. Good communication from the house as well-wishing you the very best of luck. Sasha and children.
This place has the WoW factor! Visually it is stunning, unique, old and modern, with every creature comfort imaginable. So many extras we weren’t expecting: Milk, sugar, all the cleaning products, Soundsystem, espresso pods and every gadget you could possibly want. Something else to be appreciated with the high spec of everything and the top brands, very high-quality mattresses, TVs, tableware, no expense spared. We have loved it here thank you. Yolaande
