It is also ideally placed for walks beside the River Deben and trips out into the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Let yourselves into the charming cottage to find yourselves in a welcoming lounge, with a red brick chimney breast and ornamental fireplace. Put your feet up in here in front of a good film on TV, read your holiday novels and plan the following day’s activities. Make your way through to the kitchen/diner when it is time to prepare the next tasty meal. Here you will find all the equipment you need to assist you in your endeavours. Set the table in here for a romantic dinner for two when your meal is ready. At the end of each day, climb the steep, cottage-style stairs to your inviting, king-size bedroom, which has another feature fireplace. There is also a family bathroom at this level. Take morning coffee or even breakfast out into the pretty courtyard garden on warm days. Parking for this property is on the street or nearby public pay car parks, subject to availability.

A spotlessly clean cottage with a comfortable bed. And a cosy well-equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the exposed brick above the fireplace with mirrors, and the back garden with various well tended plants. I can still visualise the French windows with a faint winter sunlight coming through

Although nice property and central location starting to look a little tired. Found settee very uncomfortable to sit on and chaise longue looks too delicate to use. Found tv a bit of an odd one to use, cannot just turn on have to tune it in !! I am 6ft and shower with sloping ceiling was a challenge and the wife found it difficult stepping out of Read morethe bath as it was a bit high. All in All loverly cottage our 3rd time there and would come again. Hide
