Head into Woodbridge (0.5 miles) where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to refuel in, as well as a few shops and art galleries. For an invigorating walk, take the circular 4-mile Kyson Hill Marshes route that starts at the train station and directs you along the River Deben among marshes and mudflats. Your little one will love a trip to Easton Farm Park (9.5 miles) where they can go on a pony ride, hug a bunny or go on a train ride around the grounds. RSPB Havergate Island, accessible only by boat from Orford Quay (12 miles), also offers a unique day out among fantastic wildlife.
