As you enter the property you’ll find a diner/lounge, perfectly cosy, with a wood burner and exposed brick for a timeless feel. The kitchen is next door, equipped with everything you could need to make a romantic meal or just a warming cup of coffee to start the day off right. There are French doors on one side which lead to the garden. Head upstairs to the bedroom, which is extremely comfortable and great for deep sleep and lie-ins. You’ll also find a bathroom. The garden is lovely and fits a lot into a small area without feeling crowded. Firstly, there’s a table and chairs so you can eat out there or enjoy a few drinks in the evening, and then there’s the BBQ for delicious meals. The area is lit by twinkling fairy lights to make everything more romantic.
Woodbridge is a nice little town with plenty of pubs and restaurants to explore. Further out you’ll find countryside and nature reserves to walk around, so pack a picnic and your binoculars. If you fancy a day at the seaside, try Aldeburgh (17 miles), which has a great beach and seasonal events including a music festival during the summer months. Alternatively, go to Felixstowe (13 miles) for a fort museum and seafront gardens with a beautiful view.
