The Lifeboat House is a spacious, quirky and well equipped house, with views from every room (even the bath has a low level window!). Facing directly onto the beach at Shingle Street and with an big enclosed garden it was ideal for our dog. At night the remote location really came into its own, with no light pollution we enjoyed fabulous night skies. The Shepherd and Dog in Hollesley is a very welcoming and dog friendly pub, the food is proper British pub grub, freshly cooked, great quality and massive portions.
