Are you in need of an escape from a fast-paced daily routine? Perhaps you’re craving a one-of-a-kind getaway boasting the beautiful surroundings of a riverside retreat? Then we think the answer could be a stay at Crow’s Nest Studio in the Area of Outstanding National Beauty that is Pin Mill.
Experience a taste of the tiny house movement with a stay in this self-contained studio perfect for two. With everything in one studio-plan room, Crow’s Nest has neatly zoned areas with compact kitchen area and table for two to one side of the studio, comfortable seating in the centre, and the double bed to the far side. There are also handy built-in storage shelves for stowing away your luggage to ensure that this quirky space is as practical as it is pretty. To the side of the bed, you’ll find a doorway to the shower room.
This spot on the edge of the River Orwell truly offers the perfect escape from your daily routine. Unwind and watch the boats sail by as you enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden or take a short walk down to the riverbank. There’s so much to do here, from discovering the peaceful woodland and heathlands (beautiful whatever time of year you choose to come), to enjoying the Arthur Ransome walking trail, following in the footsteps of the children's classic We Didn't Mean to Go To Sea. The wooded foreshores of Pin Mill are an Area Outstanding National Beauty and the unchanged landscape truly is something to behold. Whether you’re looking for a getaway to enjoy walking, sailing, birdwatching, painting, or merely want to take some time to unwind and enjoy a picnic on the shoreline, then we’re sure this is a spot you’ll be longing to return to. Idyllic location overlooking the River Orwell. Great for relaxing and reading a book or being active on the many walks straight from the studio into woodland. Ideally located for the famous Butt & Oyster pub, cosy in winter and alfresco options on warmer days. Local village shop for preparing a cosy night in or a picnic as the studio has everything you need for both. Tastefully decorated with a good size bathroom & shower and a luxuriously comfortable bed. I would recommend this cosy fully equipped studio for a couple who enjoy nature, outstanding views particularly of the river and perfect if you enjoy walking, cycling or sailing. The owner lives on-site and nothing is too much trouble.
