Crow’s Nest Annexe is in the perfect location to explore all that the Suffolk countryside has to offer, but we wouldn’t blame you if you just wanted to spend your time enjoying the spectacular views across the River Orwell and the wonderful wildlife gardens. Pin Mill is a true beauty spot that has been a bustling little harbour for centuries but spared from losing its serene charm and Crow’s Nest Annexe offers the perfect retreat to take in the picturesque surroundings.

With two first floor bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, Crow’s Nest Annexe is an ideal bolt hole for couples, friends or a family looking to explore the Area of Outstanding National Beauty that is Pin Mill. This fully contained, self-catering accommodation provides all the comfort and commodities you need for an enjoyable stay. The two double bedrooms are beautifully sun lit and offer a brilliant space to unwind after a long day exploring the network of surrounding walks. The open plan living space offers a compact yet sociable kitchen, a dining space for four and boasts those spectacular views.

This spot on the edge of the River Orwell truly offers the perfect escape from your daily routine. There’s so much to do here, from discovering the peaceful woodland and heathlands (beautiful whatever time of year you choose to come), to enjoying the Arthur Ransome walking trail, following in the footsteps of the children's classic We Didn't Mean to Go To Sea. The wooded foreshores of Pin Mill are an Area Outstanding National Beauty and the unchanged landscape truly is something to behold. Whether you’re looking for a getaway to enjoy walking, sailing, birdwatching, painting, or merely want to take some time to unwind and enjoy a picnic on the shoreline, then we’re sure this is a spot you’ll be longing to return to. Reviews

Val was so welcoming, and we had essentials provided when we arrived (milk, bread, eggs etc?. The apartment overlooked the river, and while it's very grey in the winter, it is still a lovely view, and I imagine it's stunning in the summer. It was so peaceful in the Hamlet and there were suggested walk routes along the river. The local pub is welcoming and serves great food. We had an afternoon at Flatford Mill (25 mins away) and again enjoyed lovely views of the countryside and river. We really needed the time together. In two years my brother in law was diagnosed with bowel cancer and died within 3 months. I received my breast cancer and my mother in law was diagnosed a month later with rectal cancer. We also have an autistic son. Life has only just settled enough for us to be able to go away, even for a couple of days, and relax. Thank you, and Val, so much for providing that for us.
