This cosy home offers two guests a rural romantic retreat close to the popular market town of Woodbridge. Relax and unwind in the comfy sitting room following a day exploring the local delights and you will be sure to have a peaceful night’s rest in the kingsize bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and there is a pretty, private courtyard to enjoy too.
The village shop in Bredfield, a 5 minute drive away, has all the essential items. The closest pub is the Turks Head at Hasketon, 3 miles from Debach, an award winning gastro-pub and restaurant.
Larksfield Snug is perfectly placed in the countryside. It is the ideal home from home to explore from, with Woodbridge and all its idyllic scenery and walks, local shops and wonderful places to eat and drink just 10 minutes’ drive away. Framlingham with its castle as sung about by Ed Sheeran in his “Castle on the Hill” is a 15 minute drive from Debach. Framlingham has many local shops and wonderful places to eat and drink and has a traditional market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Sutton Hoo is just 15 minutes’ drive away and a little further is Orford castle, and the more recent World War II history at Orford Ness. Dunwich is just up the coast and the lovely seaside town of Felixstowe is an easy drive too. If you fancy a day chasing the waves try Aldeburgh beach followed by a fish and chip supper from the famous fish and chip shops. Hop in the car and you can be there in just under half an hour. Snape with its famous Maltings for music events, shopping and eating is also an easy drive as is RSPB Minsmere. Southwold is a little further, with its sandy beach, promenade and pier..just perfect.
Debach was home to the American 8th Army Air Force, a heavy bomber station during the Second World War, the museum is a local tourist attraction with monthly open days throughout the summer months.
