This self-catering cottage has been carefully restored to preserve the original character of the former cart lodge and has lots of natural light. The living areas have been stylishly furnished and there is a wood-burning stove for cosy holidays throughout the colder months.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a 5' double bed and ensuite shower room, and the other bedroom with an ensuite with shower over the bath and zip and link beds which can be used as either a twin or double.

Plough Cottage can be hired together with Harrow Cottage next door for a group of eight people.

Bed linen, towels and all energy costs are included.

The cottage is centrally heated with wood-burner for extra warmth. One small bag of logs, kindling and firelighters is provided on arrival during the winter months (November-March). Further supplies can be purchased from the owners.

Lovely quiet location close to lots of coastal towns. Very cosy, well equipped cottage. The cake on arrival was a real treat!

Mrs R,

Plough cottage is in a lovely, secluded, quiet location in the Suffolk countryside but near to the coast with many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed walking along the fabulous coast, bird spotting at Minsmere, Benjamin Britten's house and the wonderful Sutton Hoo all supplemented by refreshments at local pubs and cafes. The cottage is extremely comfortable with everything you could want. The delicious lemon cake was a nice welcoming touch. We didn't know this area of the country prior to this visit but hope now to return. Thank-you

Ms P,
