Located within the beautiful grounds of Wattisham Hall, Tithe Barn is steeped in history and plays host to many original features including, traditional brick flooring, wooden beams, lathe and plaster walls and sloping ceilings. Surrounded by a 12th century medieval moat and acres of rolling Suffolk countryside, this holiday cottage is just perfect for guests wanting pure peace and quiet or wildlife lovers to explore the area and hopefully see an otter, hare or deer.
On entering the barn, you are welcomed into a large hallway with plenty of space to take your boots off after a countryside walk. Following through to a generous sized open plan kitchen, living and dining room, which is the real focal point of the property for all guests to socialise together in front of the woodburner. Leading out through the french doors, this takes you to a fully enclosed patio equipped with garden furniture, hot tub and specially built stone BBQ. Continuing on the ground floor, both a single bedroom and double bedroom reside, with adjacent shower room and large family bathroom. Following up the narrow staircase, you will find a lovely twin bedroom, as well as, a large master bedroom complete with super king bed and beautiful views across to the village church.
Outside the barn, there is a games room which is fully equipped with pool table, table tennis, table football and lots of other games to be played with. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Beside the games room is a brilliant outdoor play park, which has a climbing frame, swings and a slide. Parents can rest easy watching them from the comfort of the barn through the large windows.

Beautiful cottage in a rural location. Really enjoyed the hot tub and was very comfortable in all areas. Pet friendly, although garden is very small, lots of places to walk. Our dog is very old so was quite happy just on the patio and then back to sleep in front of the fire. Whole site was clean and welcoming, would love to return when the games room is able to open (closed due to gov restrictions).
