Lovely, very comfortable cottage, the best we've stayed in. It has everything you need and made a great holiday for us. Great location to visit all of Suffolk, especially Southwold, Aldeburgh, Debenham, Lavenham (must see place!), Dunwich Heath (National Trust) and Orford Ness. Old Felixstowe is worth a visit, along with the sea front and the drive to Shotley Gate is worthwhile to see the container ships being unloaded across the River Orwell. Thank you for a lovely stay Claire and Mark.
We've had another great week in your lovely lodge. Thank you for the welcome bag and your ladies eggs they were gorgeous. Hope to see you again.
Great accommodation in a peaceful setting where lots of wildlife can be seen. Places to visit including the coast are easy to reach from the property.
Excellent lodge in peaceful setting. The recommended eateries were spot on - try the Fox & Goose at Fressingfield for quality dining but for a really good meal in a relaxed atmosphere we recommend the Dennington Queen. Definitely provides a relaxing break in a comfortable setting. Woodpecker Lodge is lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Thank you
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cosy lodge, well equipped and very peaceful. We celebrated my mums 70th Birthday whilst we were here, thank you so much for the bottle of wine, so thoughtful. We would love to stay again in the future.

We had a fantastic weeks stay at Woodpecker Lodge, the location is so peaceful and the lodge is very comfortable and well equipped. The welcome package was lovely, especially the fresh eggs. Very handy location for visiting Southwold and the coast, only 20 minutes in the car. We will definitely be back again.
Perfect 3 night stay. Lovely peaceful location. Everything in the Lodge was high quality, it was extremely clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside area was perfect for relaxing and eating outside. One of the nicest properties we've stayed at, and can't wait to return.
“The minute we arrived at Woodpecker Lodge we felt so relaxed and inspired. Such a treat of place, with everything you could possibly need so generously provided. Freshly laid eggs, bubbles and so much more to welcome us in. The location is just lovely, with a wonderfully relaxing view and walks from the doorstep. Our family loved every second we spent there and we already can’t wait to return.”
