Experience a stay on the wild side with a self-catering break at Kaya Lodge in our safari tent, Twiga (meaning giraffe in Swahili), a truly unique experience in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. With views of the rolling fields from your private covered verandah, you too can experience a luxurious glamping experience within these beautifully equipped canvas 'walls'. Every detail has been thought of to make this a truly one of a kind experience. From the roaring wood burning stove to the flushing WC and shower you really will fall in love with this deceptively roomy space. Twiga is utterly perfect for those wishing to detox from the digital world; enjoy a break free from technology and WiFi... you'll be amazed how medicinal a holiday filled with board-games and novels is for the soul. Children will have endless hours of imaginative play as they pretend to be in the heart of the Savannah, searching for wildlife out on the field plains.
Dream of long evenings watching the sun go down - or merely breathing in this utterly wonderful landscape. Just a hop, skip and a jump away is Stonham Barns Leisure and Shopping Village - complete with golf park, restaurant, soft play barn and Owl Sanctuary. Being located on the A1120, known locally as the Tourist Route, Twiga is also within a short drive of Yoxford, Framlingham, Stowmarket, as well as further afield locations such as Aldeburgh and Southwold. Those wishing to cross the border may also enjoy a day trip to the city of Norwich, just a 50 minute car ride.
So whether you're looking for an alternative romantic retreat or a chance to re-connect with family, be sure to book your stay at Twiga today! Pub: 1.5miles by road, 0.5 miles by foot over field footpath. Shop: 3.5 miles.

Thank you for a beautiful stay here at Kaya Lodge. So peaceful and tranquil and the views are priceless. Julie has been so friendly and helpful, and on hand for anything we needed. Would come back and stay 100%. Thank you
What a great idea, a safari tent in the middle of Suffolk. We enjoyed it very much sitting in front of the tent watching the elephants crossing at the horizon of the savanna. Thank for for a lovely stay and for being helpful to us.
We have had an amazing few days at Kaya Lodge. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Feel well rested and rejuvenated. It really feels like a little slice of Africa here in the UK.
Thank you for creating such a peaceful and idyllic spot in the Suffolk Countryside. We have had a wonderful mini break, if a little short. The kids have had an absolute blast and thankfully the sun has shone for us. We would love to return in the future for wine on the deck and a relaxing stay while the kids adventure.
What an absolutely fabulous place to stay and celebrate Josie's 18th Birthday. It's a little peace of heaven here. And you have literally thought of everything. The weather for the first two days was rather challenging, so the log burner was used lots. But the sun shone on Sunday and it was lovely to be able to sit outside and listen to all the birdsong. Had a lovely meal at the Crowfield pub. Thank you for your little place of rest and relaxation.
