Description

The perfect space to rest and recharge, The Dairy lies in the serenest of surroundings. Enveloped by rolling meadows, countryside views and the sound of birdsong, this stunning setting truly must be seen to be believed.

Lovingly restored to provide a comfortable retreat for four, The Dairy is a traditional Suffolk wood-slatted building. This charming space has fused together traditional and contemporary touches to provide spacious accommodation across two floors. The Dairy is also fully accessible – a handy lift connects the two floors providing easy access to the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. Surrounded by scenic local footpaths, you are sure to love exploring here.

The living space oozes serenity with its white and grey décor and enjoys views of the meadows beyond the giant French windows. Upstairs, there are two generously sized bedrooms, one with super king and one with king size bed. Both bedrooms have stylish en suites and the master has French doors to a Juliet balcony overlooking the meadows to Lavenham.

Outside the private patio makes the most of the Suffolk sunshine and provides the perfect spot for absorbing the sights and sounds of the countryside that inspired Constable so famously. Sit back, relax and catch the scent of the lavender against the soundtrack of birdsong.

Located just on the outskirts of Lavenham, in the grounds of Preston Manor the setting is second to none. The pretty village of Preston St Mary is on your doorstep with the medieval delight of Lavenham just a mile away. Easily walkable from The Dairy, the town offers plenty to see and feast on since it’s something of a foodie paradise with many excellent restaurants and pubs.

Mr A,

A really quiet and peaceful location in the Suffolk countryside. Owner's house nearby, but that was not an issue. Property very well-presented and comfortable, including the wonderful bed. Would definitely stay again.
