Delve into the local history with a visit to Sutton Hoo National Trust (8 miles) which stretches for 245 acres and has seen some truly incredible archaeological discoveries between the exhibition hall and the estate walks. For a taste of the seaside, Thorpeness Beach is 16 miles away where endless hours of fun can be had with a boating lake, golf course and friendly village all waiting to be explored.
