Kersey has been described as Suffolk's prettiest hamlet. In the Middle Ages, Kersey was a thriving village producing woollen yarn and over 500 people occupied the timber framed houses. Nowadays, it's more peaceful place with circa 150 people occupying many of those same houses. It is a beautiful setting for exploring the wonderful local counrtyside including Constable Country and the wool towns of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare and Cavendish.

Loved the cottage, such character and immaculately clean - probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in. I think the best I can say is that it absolutely complements the character of the village and no better place to kick back with a bottle of wine and an open fire on as November night. Mr Robert Snow - 19th November 2017
We found the cottage extremely comfortable and relaxing. Kersey is a delightful village and we found the residents very friendly and helpful.Mr G Rowe - 21st September 2016
