Treat yourself to the ultimate relaxation retreat in the Suffolk countryside during your stay in this three-bed cottage with a hot tub in the pretty cottage garden. Make yourself at home in the traditional and homely living space with an exposed brick inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. Take your four-legged friends on long nature walks in The Broads national park and relax on the nearby sandy beaches.

Step inside to find a homely and characterful living area with warm neutral tones, plump sofas and wooden furnishings. Next to the lounge area with a wood burner and TV with Netflix is a dining table. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen with a tiled floor and plenty of surface space for cooking a special meal for your loved ones. Completing the ground floor is a double bedroom with an en-suite. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a double and a twin. Outside is a paved terrace with furniture overlooking the fenced wildlife pond. You’ll also have access to the meadow area which is perfect for playing ball games.

While staying in the hamlet of Ilketshall St Margaret, you’ll be surrounded by nature and dog walking routes. The market town of Bungay is 3.5 miles away which is a great place to visit for a meal out and to check out the Norman castle. Bungay is on the edge of The Broads national park – which is full of waterways, picturesque landscapes and wildlife. Take a picnic to Kessingland Beach (13 miles) and go for a dip with Fido.

Personally I couldn't fault anything, booking was straightforward, hosts were brilliant, nothing was an issue, (not that there were any). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
