The next day, take your morning coffee out on the garden bench and watch your dogs sniff around the patio, lawn and shrubs. You might see kestrels, hares and woodpeckers. There’s a BBQ perfect for grilling up some locally sourced produce.
There are plenty of natural beauty spots around the cottage, including the River Lark, which is less than 500 metres away. If you’re looking for a place for a date night, try Ipswich (6 miles) or Woodbridge (3 miles). Woodbridge also has boat tours around the RSPB reserve, so you can try a little bird watching. Finish the holiday with a trip to Shingle Street (11.5 miles) to take an evening stroll on the beach.
