Located in the heart of Framlingham, this luxurious second-floor apartment makes a stunning base for enjoying the town and gorgeous Suffolk countryside whether you’re holidaying with friends or family. It has flexible sleeping arrangements, an enclosed courtyard, and convenient private parking, plus your canine companion is welcome to holiday with you.

The apartment has been designed with an eye for detail, it reeks of sophistication with beautiful furnishings and stylish decor. Go up the external stairs in the courtyard to the front door, then up an internal flight of stairs into the gorgeous living room. Laze on the plush sofas and watch the Smart TV, take a cocktail to the seating area to watch the world go by on Market Hill while you look up dinner options on the iPad. If you’re staying in, rustle up dinners in the immaculate, contemporary kitchen to enjoy together at the dining table. Watch your favourite show on Netflix in bed, both bedrooms – a king and twin (or super-king with the beds combined) ¬– are stylishly decorated and have TVs. There’s a luxurious double walk-in rainfall shower to enjoy too. Before you start your day, pop outside to the shared courtyard with your morning cuppa.

Framlingham is a lovely market town with a range of independent shops, cafes, pubs, a fish and chip shop and restaurants to visit from just over 150 metres away. It’s also home to a 12th century castle (just over 300 metres away); a magnificent fortress with a fascinating history it makes a great day out. The popular seaside towns of Aldeburgh (14 miles) and Southwold (20 miles) are within easy reach. If you’re spending the day on the beach, feel free to borrow the buckets, spades, and crabbing lines in the shed.

Lovely apartment in the centre of the town. Everything in very easy reach. Great to sit and look out at the comings and goings on the street. Apartment extremely well equipped and very warm and cosy. Can't wait to go back.

The flat is right in the centre of Framlingham with plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants right on your doorstep. Framlingham is very quiet at night though so no disturbances late at night. Lots of stairs to gain entry to the flat but good exercise! The flat is comfy but it is a listed building so the windows are only single glazed and can be a Read morelittle draughty and rattly when it is windy. (our stay was in December) Hide

This is a truly exceptional property. The Keep is conveniently set in the very heart of Framlingham and its fittings and furnishings thoughtful, stylish and immaculately presented. It's a 6 stars review from us.

Framlingham is an excellent base for exploring the area and we had some great walks. The Keep was very comfortable and quiet. Right in the centre on Market Hill, close to all the facilities, cafes, restaurants, shops, with a large Co-op immediately opposite and a twice weekly market right outside the door. Easy parking for two cars right outsideRead more the gate. A very helpful owner who was very easy to get hold of when we couldn't get on to Netflix and quickly sorted this for us. We experienced the lovely community spirit of the town this week when we were marooned by the floods and no one could get in or out of the town. Being on a hill and on the second floor we were in no danger but it was quite an experience and the locals had never seen the likes of it either. We wish them all well as they recover from this disaster. Hide

Cannot recommend The Keep highly enough. It is a beautiful property in the perfect village location. History, shopping, great pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep. Parking right next to property. We had a great week and were sorry to leave. Well be back!
