With train stations close-by at each of those locations, you could also look forward to exploring further afield including Beccles, Lowestoft or Norwich - as well as easy commuting from London Liverpool Street. With easy access to the A12, this is a prime area for anyone looking to explore, with the Suffolk coast at Felixstowe just a 20 minute drive away. The county town of Ipswich has great historical links to the area, thanks to its architecture and waterfront, which was once a thriving dock up until the 1970's. It is also home to a good selection of independent shops and eateries, as well as some high street favourites. Motor enthusiasts will love visiting Foxhall Stadium, in neighbouring Kesgrave, home to the Ipswich Witches speedway team as well as hosting many stock car events including the banger racing Unlimited World Final since 2008. This cottage is in a peaceful rural location but within easy reach of Ipswich and many interesting places to visit around the area, including Sutton Hoo. We stayed during a heatwave and it was a lovely cool place to come back to in the evening, with a secluded outside sitting area. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break.

Dr S,

We had a wonderful few days at Mulberry End. The cottage was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our greyhound. It was tastefully furnished and the equipment was of very good quality. The bedroom was very large and stylish; the bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept very well. The hosts were friendly and pet friendly. It was great to see the free range chickens and the wildlife was plentiful - we saw a newly fledged tree creeper on the tree outside our door. The location of the cottage was good as most places of interest were within 25 miles. We drive an electric car and charging the car at the cottage was no problem which reduced our range anxiety considerably. Many thanks to the owners.

Mr P,

Mulberry End was the perfect place to stay - the owners were friendly and the property had everything you could ask for. We had a wonderful stay.

Previous Customer,

We had a great week at Mulberry End, the location was perfect for us as we were visiting family dotted around the Ipswich area. The accommodation was very homely, the bedroom enormous with the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years; the living area and bedroom well kitted out with high quality furnishings. Recommended!

Mr G,
