They say first impressions are key and No.7 certainly has this covered. The quaint cottage has a petite yet beautifully presented front garden which is equipped with bistro set for four. Into the property and you’ll find a stylish open plan living space, neatly sectioned into a cosy sitting room with welcoming wood burner and ample comfortable seating. The spacious dining table is ideal for sharing memories over a home cooked meal and seats up to six. A well-equipped kitchen with boot room and laundry room with WC lies to the rear of the ground floor and the owner has ensured this is kitted out with all you need to enjoy a relaxing self-catering stay in the heart of Suffolk. Being in such a fantastic location, we wouldn’t blame you if you choose to dine out or treat yourself to a takeaway!

Open Plan Sitting/Dining Room: sitting room with comfortable three and two seater sofas, Smart TV, DVD, WiFi, log burning stove, side tables and lovely bay window. Dining space: with dining table and seating for six. There is a step into the kitchen.

Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with electric cooker with top grill, four ring gas hob, extractor fan, freestanding fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and additional cupboard space. Adjoining Boot Room and Laundry Room with WC: with washer/dryer, WC, basin and cupboard space.

Stairs lead to the first floor from the dining space.


Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with zip and link twin beds which can be made up as a super king (please let us know if required at time of booking). Bedside tables, built-in wardrobes Ensuite Shower Room: Shower cubicle, WC and basin

Bedroom 2: Double bed (access one side only), one beside table, wall storage for clothes hanging and dressing table with drawers. Ensuite Shower Room: Shower cubicle, WC and basin.

Outside: There is a small front garden with bistro seating for four. Please note: The front garden is not secure.

Children: Families are very welcome at No7, however the property does not have secure cupboards and detergents etc are stored at low level. The garden area is not secure therefore children must not be left unattended in the garden.

Pets: One well behaved dog welcome, but not on furniture or upstairs (must sleep in boot room or laundry room only please). Please note: the garden area is not secure and therefore a dog cannot be left unattended in the garden.

Parking: Drop-off directly outside cottage. One parking permit for local zone supplied. Also pay and display car parks nearby.

Named after the martyred Saint Edmund, Bury St Edmunds is home to the only Cathedral in Suffolk and has a wealth of medieval architecture. This thriving town rarely sleeps; fayres and festivals held throughout the year celebrate sport to food and drink and the modern Apex provides one of the best acoustic venues in the country. Bury St Edmunds has appeal to all that visit; the Theatre Royal is the only remaining Regency Playhouse in England whilst the Arc shopping area, built on the old Cattle Market, is a 21st century shopping area with an array of both national and independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Excellent property. Everything you needed for a self-catering stay. Great bedding and towels. Great location for walking into Bury St Edmunds and driving to other planes in East Anglia.
