Bruisyard is a small rural village located between the A12 and Framlingham and is set in wonderful countryside by the River Alde. Framlingham is a pretty market town with its castle dating back to the twelfth century being a popular tourist attraction and more recently the inspiration for musician Ed Sheeran's 'Castle on the Hill' hit single. Bruisyard has an active village community including Bruisyard Church and regular events are held at Bruisyard village hall including 'Pub Night' every Wednesday! Bruisyard offers visitors a host of country walks in idyllic Suffolk countryside and is situated just twenty minutes or so from the seaside town of Aldeburgh and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Bruisyard is ideal for birdwatching by day and stargazing by night. There are several excellent pub/restaurants within a ten minute drive.

This was our 2nd visit to Rose Cottage the bedrooms are excellent and beds very comfy. The fact that they are dog friendly means we can bring our dogs with us and take advantage of the lovely walks in the area
Both the property and the local area were beautiful and exceeded all expectations.
