Dating back to the 17th century, this cosy cottage boasts a roaring log burner in the living room to unwind in front of in the chillier season. This room also hosts your dining area and is adorned with beautiful wooden beams. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all you could need during your stay and upstairs offers a light and bright kingsize bedroom, perfect for long lie ins with tea and biscuits.
You can also take benefit of a private courtyard with outside seating ideal for those early morning coffees listening to the birds tweeting or an evening tipple watching the sunset over the tree canopy. There is also a walled garden which is part of the main house which guests are welcome to enjoy.

Directly opposite the cottage is Broome Heath, a 31 hectare nature reserve which is perfect for walking and fishing. There is also a pub, restaurant and village shop all within easy walking distance.
Broome is close by to the market town of Bungay and lies within the Waveney Valley on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Here you will find many Suffolk gems including, Fen Farm Dairy; A family-owned farm producing delectable dairy treats, from their herd of Montbeliarde cows. Neighbouring Beccles is just a short 10-minute drive away and plays host to many brilliant independent shops and restaurants. The Suffolk favourite of Southwold is a 30-minute drive away too.
