Have a day out to Southwold, 14.5 miles away, where you can swim in the sea, walk along the pier and go crabbing from the harbour. Picturesque Covehithe Beach, 11.5 miles away, is a quieter, coastal spot for those who prefer a wilder and more secluded option.
