Airbnb guest review: What a find. We arrived at 6pm and Helena had kindly left a torch out so we could access the key lock easily in the dark We were simply overwhelmed when entering the annexe. It was stunning and absolutely immaculate The battery candles were lit on the fire place and it felt so cosy and inviting. The wonderful welcome pack of wine, chocolate, bread, eggs, jam, butter, milk, teas and coffees was both generous and thoughtful Everything you could possibly need for your stay away from home had been thoughtfully considered. We needed a short break away from the stresses of everyday life and this annexe was the most perfect place to do this. We ordered a takeaway our first evening there and after struggling to find us initially we enjoyed a nice Indian takeaway. In the morning we opened the patio door curtains and were treated by the most amazing garden and we got to meet the geese and Benny the owl ( who I swear answered me every time I spoke to him ) We were ideally situated to drive into the beautiful village of Lavenham and enjoyed lunch at the Sweetmeats Tea Rooms We found a local Tescos , about 4 miles from the annexe where we got supplies for the remainder of our stay. I hope this review encourages you to try Owlhoot Annexe for yourselves You will not be disappointed However I hope that it isn’t fully booked when we want another short break away!! Thank you Helena and Tony. Owlhoot Annexe is simply perfect.
