Westleton is a pretty village midway between Aldeburgh and Southwold with the coast at Dunwich only two and a half miles away. It is centred around a large green and is one of the most popular places to stay on the Heritage Coast as it is an ideal base for the beach or for Minsmere, as well as the coastal heaths and forests. There are two good pubs, a restaurant and well-stocked village store-cum-post office, all in the village centre. Much of the area around the village is accessible open heath or mixed woodland.

Lovely spacious and well maintained cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. Thank you for the lovely bag of goodies on arrival, much appreciated! Suffolk is as lovely as ever, we have visited a lot of our favorite places, and found some new ones andwe are very pleased to see how dog friendly the county is. Some recommended dog friendly pubs are: The White Horse down the road, The Crown in the Village, Sibton White Horse, The Ship Inn Dunwich & The nelson In Southwold. Westleton Common is great for dog walks and is a real hidden gem, at this time of year it is absolutely beautiful. We have had a lovely relaxing week, thank you.
We as a family very much enjoyed our holiday at the Easter cottage and look forward to rebooking for next year because it was that good.
The cottage was clean and tidy and very well equipped everything that we needed for a lovely weekend. We were very lucky to have wonderful weather and the garden was very nice. There were loads of games for indoors and outside and the kitchen/dining room with the lounge coming off of both was perfect,we didn't even use the front sitting room.We were five adults and a large dog there and there was plenty of room for us.
Very good house with a wonderful garden. The location is excellent. We enjoyed walks to Dunwich, Minsmere, and Middleton. Darsham marshes are also worth a visit. A great holiday for three generations of our family. The children enjoyed all the games and books provided, and the living space is wonderful.
The property was lovely, the garden was beautiful! We had a lovely holiday with our family, the location was perfect for our young granddaughters.
We had a wonderful holiday at Easter Cottage. It was very much a home away from home. Bedrooms were good size and very comfortable. My young boys loved the garden. Many an evening was spent having our dinner out on the lovely patio area. Very close to beaches and a great local pub just a few minutes walk from the cottage. We would stay here again.
Really lovely cottage and garden. (We were visited daily by a small munjtjac deer, and once by an extremely large cock pheasant peering in at the patio door!) Amazing! Norma, Chris and Annie...three senior citizens from Surrey.
We wanted a comfortable cottage, with enough space for our family of 6 to spread out, in a location that enabled us to explore all of the surrounding towns and villages. It absolutely delivered. We rarely return to the same holiday destination, but on leaving, we both agreed that we'd like to come back.
Excellent location for visiting both Southwold and Aldeburgh. Well equipped with everything you need. A real home away from home. Wonderful comfortable and cosy cottage
