Westleton is a pretty village midway between Aldeburgh and Southwold, with the coast at Dunwich only two and a half miles away. Centred around a large green, Westleton is one of the most popular places to stay on the Heritage Coast. It is an ideal base for the beach or for Minsmere, as well as the coastal heaths and forests. There are two good pubs, a restaurant and well-stocked village store/post office - all in the village centre. Much of the area around the village is accessible open heath or mixed woodland.

Beautiful, light-filled house with everything we needed for a relaxing week with our toddler on the Suffolk Coast. The garden was a joy to explore, full of colour and butterflies. Westleton village had everything we could need; village shop, two pubs that both serve food and a great playground close to the house. Location was a great base to explore the whole area.
The living space at the Blue House is very well designed and on the whole very comfortable. The setting (opposite the heath and within 5 minutes brisk walk of the village centre) is lovely and ideal for visits to Minsmere, Walberswick, Southwold, Snape and Aldeburgh.
A comfortable home from home property - I would not recommend for senior citizens staying without family help as it is necessary to park your car approx 65 yards from property with no possibility of parking any nearer to offload luggage, provisions etc. Quite a drawback making several journeys to and from car with heavy bags, provisions for catering etc.
The Blue House was everything were were expecting and hoped for - clean, airy, bright, comfortable, extremely well equipped. The woodland straight across the road was perfect for our dog. Westleton is ideally situated for exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside and is, itself, a very pretty village with two excellent, friendly pubs. Would highly recommend.
We stayed here with our two children and young dog. We found it very spacious and particularly loved the views across the heath. We walked our dog in the forest everyday and the kids loved the big play park which was only 2 minutes walk away. We also ate in the White Horse on several nights which was very nice.
