Secret Garden is a traditional mid 1800's cottage in the heart of Wenhaston opposite St Peters Church situated 3 miles from Halesworth.  It is ideally located to explore the surrounding towns of Southwold and Walberswick, as well as Minsmere Nature Reserve. Secret Garden has been sympathetically refurbished, including a new kitchen and bathroom as well as an improved living space. The cottage is furnished in keeping with the period, but it has a contemporary twist and the benefit of modern conveniences. The pretty garden has several shady seating areas including a wooden arbour. A gate from the garden leads to Church Common. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 0.5 miles.

Kitchen: Ceramic hob and electric oven, fridge with ice box, microwave, washing machine, table and chairs, stable door which leads to the rear garden.

Notes: Wi-fi and towels provided. There is a telephone for incoming calls only. Parents should be aware that there is a small pond in the garden which is fenced off for safety.

Wenhaston is a pretty village, with an excellent country pub within walking distance of the cottage, which serves food and local ales. There are also three lovely areas of common within the parish which are ideal for local walks. There are coastal resorts and nature reserves within easy reach. Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick, with Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half an hours drive. Halesworth, four miles away, has a regular train service from Norwich and London. There is a regular bus service through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh.
