Belvedere Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage in the lovely village of Wenhaston. Cleverly extended, this property has a separate sitting room with a wood burner making it a cosy comfortable room for winter breaks. Leading on from the sitting room is a lovely open plan area with a galley kitchen, dining area and Sun Room, the perfect space for your whole party to come together and make the most of the self catering experience. French doors lead out to the garden where you will find the Annexe. Sleeping an additional two guests this beautiful room offers guests a super king size bed and ensuite bathroom facilities. Also available for guests use between the property and the annexe is a courtyard with furniture and an additional garden area which is laid to lawn. Wenhaston is a quaint village south of the river Blyth and less than 7 miles from Southwold and Walberswick on the Suffolk coast. The village lies on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is less than 4 miles from the town of Halesworth which is worth a visit during your stay in this beautiful county and will provide you with all amenities during your stay. The village itself has a traditional pub called The Star serving real ale and good food and The Queen’s Head at Blyford is within walking distance, serving locally sourced ingredients in a friendly setting. St Peter’s church is also a lovely place to visit and has a rare 16th century Doom on display which was uncovered after potentially over 300 years being hidden from sight. There are three lovely areas of Common within the parish which are ideal for local walks and plenty of footpaths for you to enjoy.

We cannot fault Belvedere Cottage at all. It was perfectly located, of a high standard, well equipped, safe for our dogs and reasonably priced. It was perfect for two families (each with a dog) as there are two separate properties and a large garden. It is very spacious in the areas that matter - the living room, dining room, summer room and garden. It was a fantastic find and we will recommend it to friends who want a similar stay. We have no negatives.
Really lovely comfortable cottage and nice size garden
