Wenhaston is a quaint village south of the river Blyth and less than 7 miles from Southwold and Walberswick on the Suffolk coast. The village lies on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is less than 4 miles from the town of Halesworth which is worth a visit during your stay in this beautiful county and will provide you with all amenities during your stay. The village itself has a traditional pub called The Star serving real ale and good food and The Queen’s Head at Blyford is within walking distance, serving locally sourced ingredients in a friendly setting. St Peter’s church is also a lovely place to visit and has a rare 16th century Doom on display which was uncovered after potentially over 300 years being hidden from sight. There are three lovely areas of Common within the parish which are ideal for local walks and plenty of footpaths for you to enjoy.
