As you approach the property, down the private driveway, you will be struck by the grandeur of this beautiful period Suffolk manor house. Upon opening the large wooden door, you will be greeted by the wonderful sense of warmth and homeliness that this property radiates. This spacious manor house retains much of its original charm with a wealth of exposed beams in almost every room and authentic period features throughout. The property is a perfect self-catering getaway for large families and groups of friends with ample space and reception rooms. The snug, complete with welcoming wood burner, is the perfect spot for cosy nights in whilst the dining room and lounge offer an abundance of space for socialising, family meals and bringing everyone together to create wonderful memories. The kitchen truly is the heart of the home providing a taste of luxury and a well thought out space to ensure you can make the most of your self-catering stay. When it’s time to recharge your batteries, you’ll find four plush bedrooms on the first floor – all of which benefit from glorious views over the gardens and surrounding countryside and a further twin bedroom in the eaves on the second floor. To top it all off there is even a Drawing room, complete with Bar billiard table, meaning that children and adults alike can enjoy endless fun without even leaving the house! This relaxed room has a large television and abundant seating where the family can gather.
The manor itself is surrounded by beautiful grounds which are secure and dog friendly, mainly laid to lawn and enclosed by hedges and maintained borders which merge beautifully into the surrounding trees. There are many lovely areas ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. With various seating placed around the garden you can always ensure you have the best spot! If you’re planning on enjoying some alfresco dining, then the patio area with outside dining table is the perfect spot to do so. There is an ornamental fish pond so small children will need to be supervised.

The village of Theberton is a wonderful location for those looking for a peaceful spot to escape the hustle and bustle. There’s a wonderful village pub, The Lion, which is a short walk from the property. Eastbridge, home to a fantastic award winning Adnams pub, the Eels Foot is another must visit during your stay – and even better, pair this with a visit to the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve. If you’re feeling energetic you could even cycle it – just 20 minutes on the bike!
