Couples’ trips are a great way to bond with your friends and their partners, cementing relationships which last a lifetime. So take a holiday to Suffolk and enjoy the beaches, culture and wildlife in this cosy cottage. You can even bring your dogs!

As you enter the property you’ll find a cosy sitting room with an electric effect fire for snug evenings after busy days. You can cook up something delicious in the nearby kitchen, and munch in the dining area. There’s a beautiful view of the garden and wooden floorboards, so listen out for the tapping of your dogs’ paws. Head upstairs to see the two bedrooms, both doubles. They’re simply decorated to promote rest, and incredibly comfortable. On sunny days, take drinks out to the lush garden. There’s a seating area in the greenery and a summer house with a lounge. It’s the perfect spot for crafts and chats.

This cottage is located in the market town of Saxmundham, a lovely area which isn’t too busy. There are a few pubs around for food and drinks, and some shops if you need anything. History enthusiasts should schedule time around Leiston Abbey (5 miles), a ruin that’s great for exploring. You’ll be 7 miles from Aldeburgh, a seaside resort with excellent beaches and a music festival so you can enjoy the community, try water sports or stretch out on the sand with an ice cream. Finish your holiday by visiting Snape Marshes (5 miles), where you can see all sorts of amazing wildlife including ponies, otters and birds.

The property was in a good location close to the town centre and was within walking distance from the cottage. The cleanliness of the property on arrival was excellent, we certainly enjoyed the garden and the summer house was very relaxing in the evenings.

We loved the cottage - it was centrally located close to shops, nice walks and a lovely fish & chip shop. Easy to drive to nearby seaside towns and lots to do in the area. The cottage itself is really well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and it's very cosy with a large bathroom and excellent garden space including the sRead moreummer house. What a wonderful holiday we have just had in Clyde Cottage. I booked it in 10 minutes purely by the description of the property, and the bonus of a lovely enclosed garden with a summer house. Clyde cottage is a beautifully presented little cottage with everything you need, in a quiet location but withing walking distance to all amenities. Overall the cottage was very nice and very clean and was in a good location. We did have a minor issue when we arrived in that there was no power in the kitchen sockets, which meant that the fridge wasn't working. The owner was contacted and she was very apologetic and did quickly sort out someone to come and check it, but after the call was made, Read moreI identified what the issue was in the fuse box and fixed it myself, which meant that the issue was resolved and no call out was required. The listing mentioned a Welcome pack would be at the property. This was quite poor with a couple of random items. After speaking with the owner, it seems that this wasn't the standard that was expected by the owner themselves, so I'm not sure what the Welcome pack should have contained. The curtains in the bedrooms could be improved as they are quite light so the bedrooms are quite bright as soon as the sun comes up, which affected our sleep. Heavier curtains would be better. The property could also benefit by having a small tv in the bedrooms and a WiFi booster, as there was no WiFi available in the summer house at the bottom of the garden. Hide

A very comfortable immaculate cottage Parking on the street a bit of a challenge, worry nb arriving at night because there seem to be more vehicles than spaces nearby Nevertheless a lovely comfortable homely base
