Description

Exposed beams, a wood burning stove and carefully retained original features all combine to make the perfect English cottage. Guests will feel like they’re in a Suffolk fairy tale as they walk up the path which runs alongside wildflowers and ends at the 18th century home with its thoughtful, peacefully decorated interiors and modern amenities while still retaining its characterful wonky walls.   Inside there are many original paintings by a local artist and some amusing vintage artwork.

Brookside’s living room is the epitome of cosy with its big sofas and wood burner. Warm your fingers and toes by the fire whilst watching some tv or enjoying a family board game around the coffee table. Guests will find a spacious and welcoming kitchen and dining area on the same floor. All the modern amenities needed to enjoy a self-catering holiday cottage are provided including a gas oven and hob alongside original exposed beams and calming green and grey tones.

Continuing upstairs guests will find a charming and luxurious family bathroom and two generously sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has an exposed brick wall and the twin bedroom has a charming low original window that looks over the front garden. The property's garden at its rear comes complete with garden furniture. Guests can enjoy resting outside and listen to the birds sing in the quiet Suffolk countryside.
