A large, lockable garage is situated to the side of the gravelled drive, which is wide enough to accommodate several cars.

Dunwich, located approximately 2.5 miles away, is an unspoilt coastal village with a mainly shingle beach. The Ship Inn serves good meals as does the Beach Café, which is renowned for its delicious fish and chips – best enjoyed on the beach! In the other direction, the exceptionally popular Two Magpies sourdough bakery is only 1.5 miles away from the cottage.
Walberswick, 4.5 miles away, is famous for crabbing, painting, and for its long sandy beach and shallow waters.
Dunwich adjoins Dingle Marshes Nature Reserve, and Dunwich Heath (the cliff top is National Trust owned). RSPB Minsmere is next door. Southwold and Aldeburgh are in close proximity, the former being approximately 7.5 and the latter 11 miles away. Trains and buses can be found four miles away at Darsham.
