Spindrift is a pretty cottage dating from about 1880 and set within an equally pretty village, just on the outskirts of the glorious Suffolk Coast and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This cosy bolthole is the perfect place for couples, families or friends looking to come away to a quiet village close by to the popular coastal hotspots.
Relax and unwind with a good book in the snug or curl up in front of the wood burner following a long stroll along the many footpaths in the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well equipped for your stay to whip up some delicious meals. There is also a BBQ for you to dine al fresco too. Perhaps you fancy a night off cooking, in which case, head off down to either of the two nearby pubs; -“The Star “ in Wenhaston or “The Queens Head” at Blyford for some local food.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are available to accommodate up to four guests however if you are looking for some additional space for extra guests, look no further than the adjoining property Japonica Cottage which can accommodate a further two people.

Wenhaston is a pretty village, with excellent country pubs within walking distance of the cottage, serving food and local ales. There are also three lovely areas of common within the parish which are ideal for local walks. Ther are coastal resorts and nature reserves wihin easy reach. Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick with RSPB Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. Halesworth is in close distance too with independent shops, The Cut Arts centre for exhibitions, concerts and films as well as a weekly market. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half and hours drive. Nearest rail stations are at Halesworth and Darsham on the East Suffolk Line from Ipswich to Lowestoft for connections to London and Norwich respectively. The Bungay to Southwold bus services (5 times a day) passes through Wenhaston.

- The wood burner is the main source of heating for the living room, snug, twin bedroom and master bedroom. Logs and briquettes are provided within the rental cost. There is an outbuilding with a laundry room, containing a washing machine and tumble dryer. This is shared with Japonica Cottage next door.
