A stay here will have you tucked away from the hustle and bustle and yet within easy driving distance of the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, whilst the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve is just a 15 minute drive away. Blackshore is situated in the village of Wenhaston which is surrounded by fabulous countryside walks, including walks along the nearby Blyth river at Blythburgh. The village pub, The Star Inn is also just a few minutes walk from this lovely holiday cottage. The pretty setting is ideal for those who enjoy walking, birdwatching, cycling and for families too. Days out exploring can be perfectly completed by settling down in the sitting room in front of the log burning stove. Whether you choose to return with fish and chips or whip up your own culinary delights, the fantastic sociable kitchen is ideal for gathering the family together with it’s large kitchen island complete with bar stools. With two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor, this holiday cottage offers generous accommodation for up to 8 guests. Every inch has been carefully designed to provide a comforting and welcoming space.

With multiple sociable garden spaces to enjoy, there is a space for everyone to relax. There is a large front garden with fire pit and patio with seating and barbeque area. And to the rear, there is a lovely outside space with lawn and seating area, as well as a paved area with a Netball hoop. Wenhaston is a pretty village, with a pub and shop within walking distance of the cottage, which serves food and local ales. There are also three lovely areas of common within the parish which are ideal for local walks. There are coastal resorts and nature reserves within easy reach. Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick, with Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half an hours drive. Halesworth, four miles away, has a regular train service from Norwich and London. There is a regular bus service through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh.
