Baxter House is a wonderful historic cottage ideally suited to family holidays being just five minutes’ drive from the seaside town of Southwold. Baxter House isn’t ashamed of its traditional roots with its wood floors, ceiling beams and internal latch doors. The sitting room boasts relaxation with comfortable terracotta sofas surrounding the electric fire. Also on the ground floor is a handy shower room with spacious shower cubicle and large wall tiles. The real ‘wow’ factor comes in the open plan room which has a gorgeous kitchen/diner extension at the rear which also has an additional sitting area. This fantastic room is the real hub of the home and a surprise from its traditional exterior. Many of the kitchen appliances are Neff branded - all adding to the ease of self-catering. Large bi-folding doors open onto the garden which has a large patio area with garden furniture and steps up to a good-sized lawn. The back garden gate opens onto the village allotments, floodlit tennis court, playing fields and children's play area - the perfect place to enjoy family time during the summer season.
Up the traditional cottage staircase to the first floor are the bedrooms which appeal to all ages. The master comes complete with a sumptuous super king size bed and a handy En-Suite. The second bedroom has a double bed as well as a full-size cot for tots, and there are also a further two single bedrooms both of a good size. The family bathroom is a contemporary suite with a bath tub and over bath shower and a Velux window allowing lots of natural light.
Baxter House is the perfect choice for holidaying along the Heritage Coast with the bus stop just yards away which takes you directly to Southwold. The Angel Inn is just a few yards from the front door and offers a warm welcome, good food and a range of ales. Shop: 0.1 miles Pub: 50 yds.
