Walberswick is a firm favourite with those looking for a coastal retreat with its sandy beach, great pubs, the picturesque harbour which separates Walberswick from neighbouring seaside town of Southwold. Walberswick is also famed for being one of the best crabbing spots around! This delightful cottage is ideally located to fully experience all that this coastal destination has to offer.
Spinners benefits from a spacious kitchen family room, with soft seating and a large dining table, ideal for all the family to enjoy. With Shaker kitchen, Esse range and a wall of windows and doors looking out into the gardens, you are certain to enjoy this space. The kitchen has direct access to the extensive gardens via French doors leading to the alfresco dining patio. A further separate cosy living room offers an ideal space to relax and unwind after a busy day at the beach sitting in front of the open fire.
On the first floor you will find a stunning Master bedroom, complete with en-suite shower room and direct garden views, stretching across to views of the sea. Two further bedrooms, a double and twin and family bathroom, which includes a roll top bath complete the first floor accommodation.
The gardens of Spinners are one of the reasons this property is so special. Mainly lawned but with a beautiful wild flower garden, complete with a small fun caravan, children’s playhouse, and incredible views beyond, this property arguably has one of the most special gardens in the village.
There are two pubs and a café within walking distance from the property, so you have the option of eating in or dining out. If you are looking to explore a bit further then we recommend crossing the harbour to neighbouring Southwold via the quirky foot ferry, where you can soak up the vibrance of this popular seaside town and its delightful pier. If it’s the beach you’re after, the sandy stretch of beach and the dunes of Walberswick will not disappoint. What we love about this property? Spinners is simply unique. The owner has created an utterly charming and stylish home with vintage touches in this stunning thatched cottage. Beautiful gardens, dreamy interiors and sea views - what more could you want?

Walberswick has over a thousand acres of open access heath and marshland, protected as an Area of Outstanding National Beauty. The RSPB Bird Reserve at Minsmere is a short drive away and the seaside town of Southwold is within strolling distance along one of the many beautiful walks in and around Walberswick or the foot ferry that runs during the summer months. Within Walberswick there are tearooms, restaurants, two public houses, an art gallery, original crafts and gift shops.

A unique holiday home with the feel of it being the owners' own home. Artistically furnished and decorated. Lovely large enclosed garden for dogs. Plenty of lovely walks from the house.
We had a wonderful holiday at The Spinners. We all loved the the large garden with its views of the sea, trees lawns and wildflowers - especially our under 5s who also loved the quirky friendly decor of the house. The big family room/kitchen was ideal for us - lots of room for cooking, eating and playing and watching the birds. The children really liked their bedroom, while the grown ups had plenty of room and interesting furniture in theirs. The house definitely feels like a family home rather than the usual holiday cottage. Lovely walks, unspoilt beaches and nature reserves close by.
It really is a great property - perfect, tranquil location and superb garden for children and adults alike. The interior design is unique and quirky, but appeals to us so we loved it. Only real negative we found was the quality/comfort of the seating areas and beds.
