This split-level holiday apartment commands wonderful views over the village of Walberswick, the town of Southwold and the sea, beaches and marshes, which are such an attraction of the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Located in Walberswick harbour, the apartment is just minutes' from the pebble beach and the village green, with its gift shops, cafes and two pubs, both serving excellent food. Southwold, with its attractive beach huts, award-winning pier and Adnams Brewery, can be reached by the tow path along the River Blyth or the foot ferry.
An ideal romantic hideway, Top Deck's most stunning feature is the very top floor of the apartment, where the contemporary kitchen/dining area has stunning panoramic views to the beach and river mouth. Just below this mezzanine level, is a cosy sitting area, again with large windows and fabulous views, and the double bedroom. The first floor accommodates the twin bedroom and bathroom.
TV in cabinet.
Table with window seat and four chairs. Small sofa.
Electric cooker, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, toaster.
Bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.
One double, one twin-bedded room.
Private parking for two cars on the gravel area outside the apartment.
Top Deck can be rented with Lower Deck (which sleeps 2) to accommodate a larger party: the dining table in Top Deck can seat six people easily.
There is Wi-fi at Top Deck

Top Deck is a great property and it has the best views in Walberswick. Comfortable beds and sofas, excellent kitchen and dining facilities. Situated next to the river and with a view of the sea, we watched the Southwold Sailing Club yachts and cruisers go out of the harbour entrance for their races on the sea. The village has two pubs for food (booking may be required!) and there are other small business providing excellent take away pizzas and delicious snacks and drinks. Top Deck has everything you will need for a lovely holiday. I can thoroughly recommend it.
'Top Deck' did not disappoint in any way. The most important feature was the wonderful view of the Blyth, the dunes and the sea. The weather was dry and sunny but if it had been dreary we could still have enjoyed the aspect. We love Cape Cod and couldn't help but make comparisons.....why go all the way to New England when Walberswick is so close?
