Situated on the edge of the village of Walberswick and only a short walk from the village shop, church and many footpaths, this cottage enjoys a secluded position tucked away behind evergreen hedges and surrounded by a large pretty garden. If you are looking for a family-friendly cottage close to the beach and local amenities, this is the perfect holiday hideaway.
With three good sized bedrooms and an additional slatted bed with good mattress available in one of the twin rooms, this seaside cottage can sleep up to six people. The cottage features a light and airy open plan kitchen/dining room and a cosy sitting room with a gas fire and french doors opening out on to a paved terrace and garden. There is a spacious family bathroom on the first floor plus a ground-floor shower room which is great for showering off after a day on the beach.

The garden surrounds the cottage creating a relaxing, peaceful environment. High hedges provide a safe, secluded and secure setting and there is a children's play house, equipped with a children's table, chairs, stools and various toys suitable for children, including a Giant Connect 4. There is garden furniture and chairs for six people.
There is a brick built barbeque suitable for disposable barbeques only ( you will need to bring your own or purchase them locally).
There is off-road parking for three cars.
The area:
The pretty coastal village of Walberswick has much to offer with two excellent pubs serving locally brewed Adnams Ales and a wide choice of food, a lovely beach and a selection of tea-rooms and gift shops around the village green as well as a children's play area. Walberswick also has a village shop and delicatessen and just across the River Blyth are the many attractions of Southwold.
Southwold is a 15 minute drive from Walberswick but can also be reached by footpaths and cycle paths to the bailey bridge at Southwold harbour or by rowing boat ferry which runs between Easter and September. Southwold has a range of great shops from artisan bakeries to fashionable boutiques and local independent shops and art galleries. There is also a small cinema, the iconic Southwold Pier, the Boating Lake, golf club and two tennis clubs.

The cottage is centrally heated. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Stairgates are provided for families and the appropriate cups fitted to the walls and wooden banisters for ease of use.
