A good family house for the three generations of our family. The proximity to local shops, pubs and beauty spots were much appreciated as was the welcome pack.

Ferrins is a lovely house for an extended family holiday. My grandchildren all loved it (aged 3, 8 and 9). Indeed the 8 year-old said that when he got home he was going to get a taxi and come straight back. It is so well situated with a small supermarket and a delicatessen very close by. The walk to the beach or to the ferry is relatively easy. CraRead morebbing was the favourite activity. The exceptionally large garden is a huge bonus - with seating areas both in the open and sheltered. Hide

We found this property ideal for our purposes as 4 separate adults each wanting their own room. It is a very well appointed house, close to the shop and the deli but still in an extremely quiet location . There are 6 different seating options outside! Both village pubs are within a shortish walk, the Anchor 's food being particularly delicious ifRead more more expensive than the Bell. Hide

Really missed not having a welcome pack. Doors in some bedrooms had thick dust. Mattress on bed in master bedroom very stained. Info regarding property not obvious so only found at end of stay. Everything else was very good.

There were no plastic plates for children, only bowls. Only one person at a time could have a shower as if another shower was used the water would go cold and then turn off. VERY inconvenient when there are 10 people in a house! Otherwise all good.

Ferrins was a lovely cottage with plenty of space for us. Gardens were amazing and lots of parking. Well equipped kitchen. Only issues we had were the beds were very soft causing back complaints. They seemed like they had gone a bit out of shape and could maybe do with replacing. Also there were a lot of mosquitoes so some sort of repellent etc wouRead moreld have been good. Finally, the carpet under the dining room table is a bit odd and would be better if there was something you could clean properly. Oh and having a travel cot and highchair would have been useful. These are minor suggestions to improve the place. But we really did enjoy our stay and would recommend it to others. Hide
