Located in one of the principal houses in the coastal village of Walberswick, Four Marsh End boasts lovely views from three aspects of this stylish holiday apartment overlooking the water meadows to Blackshore, across the River Blyth and over the dunes to the sea.    

This beautiful apartment, which is close to the beach and village green, has been refurbished to create spacious and light filled rooms with comfortable and contemporary furnishings and decor, with a newly fitted shower room, well designed and equipped galley style kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. 

Marsh End is available throughout the year for short breaks and weekly holidays and is ideal for couples looking for a romantic hideaway or for a family seeking a traditional seaside holiday.

Entrance:  

Through the front door of Marsh End and up the U shaped stairs with six steps up to the first landing and then seven steps up to the first floor landing and the door to the apartment.  

Hall:  

With cupboard with hanging space and doors to all rooms.  

Living room:  

Light and spacious with two seater sofa, armchair and window seat, TV with Freeview, DVD player, bookcases with an eclectic collection of books and novels.  Dining room table and four chairs.  

Kitchen:  

With good storage, electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, cafetiere, filter coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. 

Master bedroom: 

 Double bed, bedside tables and lamps, built in cupboard with hanging space, shelving with drawers, mirror and hairdryer. 

Bedroom 2:  

Twin bedroom, views to the dunes and sea, bedside tables and lamps, book case, chest of drawers, hanging space. 

Shower room:  

Large shower cubicle, hand basin and WC, heated towel rail, mirrored cupboard over hand basin, vinyl floor. 

The area:  

The apartment is just minutes from the sand and pebble beach and the village green, with its gift shops, cafes and two pubs, both serving excellent food. The village also has an excellent delicatessen and well stocked local grocery store.   

The iconic seaside town of Southwold, with its attractive beach huts, award-winning pier and Adnams Brewery, can be reached on foot or by bicycle by the tow path along the River Blyth and over the Bailey bridge or by the rowing boat ferry which operates from Easter to the end of September and a journey to Southwold by car is approximately 15 minutes.  The area around Walberswick is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring the wealth of attractions from the RSPB site at Minsmere, the home of Aldeburgh Music at Snape Maltings, the pretty villages and market towns with welcoming pubs and weekly farmers' markets plus the beautiful Suffolk countryside.  

Notes:  

The apartment is heated throughout by modern electric radiators, which will be turned on for winter arrivals.  The apartment is carpeted throughout with the exception of the vinyl floors in the kitchen and shower room.

We would be happy to return to this property. We really enjoyed the collection of books, music scores and paintings. The TV was also a real plus having My View services. It was very handy for the local pubs and very close to beach and river.
