There is a fully fitted contemporary kitchen equipped with all you could wish for to enjoy some excellent dining or if you fancy hanging up the apron whilst on holiday, head down to The Black Dog Deli, just a 5 minutes’ walk away and indulge in their wonderful array of delicious treats! Furthermore, you can walk a little further into the centre of Walberswick and relish in the glorious pubs, tea rooms and independent shops as well as, strolls along the beach, crabbing on the estuary and the ferry across to Southwold. This wonderful holiday home is the perfect spot to really relax, unwind and enjoy a staycation in Suffolk!

Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed, bedside tables with lamps and chest of drawers. Ensuite: Shower, wc, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2: Twin single beds, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and hanging hooks.

Bathroom: Bath, with overhead shower, washbasin, wc and heated towel rail.

Storage Garage:  Tumble dryer and washing line.  Storage facilities for bikes or canoes etc. Additional information: any barbecues be held away from all the windows of the property.  There is an area at the back of the garden that has been designated for barbecue use. 

Walberswick is a former fishing village just across the harbour at Southwold – you can take the small ferry boat from Southwold across (summer season only) or there is the footbridge to use. Walberswick has surrounding heath and marshland which are protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walberswick is very popular with walkers, cyclists and families and is known for its annual crabbing competitions. Walberswick has attracted famous figures over the years with many famous celebrities maintaining homes in the village. The village has two pubs – The Anchor and The Bell Inn – the latter which inspired the creation of Adnams’ Ghost Ship Ale, a tearoom, art gallery and gift shop. There are some fantastic walks from Walberswick via the Suffolk Coast Path leading to the historical village of Dunwich. Other attractions nearby include the seaside town of Southwold, Blythburgh and RSPB Minsmere Reserve is just a short drive away.

We know the area well so to find accommodation at short notice was great. Recently refurbished to a good standard with a well appointed kitchen. Very clean and tidy, we hope it stays that way as we will certainly like to come back time and again. 1/2 mile to the beach so walked down for a swim everyday. Garage available so good storage for a bike or beach gear if taking your own kit. Well sited for many other walks around Walberswick and through to Dunwich.

Lovely accommodation, very well equipped with everything you could need, very spacious for 4 people, loved the french doors opening out onto a lovely big garden, perfect for us and the dog!
